TZFAT CONNECTION

On the western slope of a mountain in the north of Israel lies the charming, Mystical City of Tzfat known for centuries as one of the four Holy Cities of Israel. According to Jewish tradition, Tzfat is associated with the Spiritual element of Air. It is said that the 'air of the Holy Land makes a person wise'.

The ancient book of Kabbala, the Zohar, which is the first major source of Jewish Mysticism, says that the air of Tzfat is the 'purest and holiest in all of Israel'. It is here in this ancient town, where the Ari expounded and explained the great secrets of Kabbala. Commentaries on the Zohar state that Mashiach (The Messiah) will be revealed in the Galilee town of Tzfat.

 It is to this serene and secluded, mountain town, that Derech came years ago to immerse himself in the atmosphere of clear thinking, meditation and Torah. It is a place where conditions are ideal to make an intimate connection with G-d.
